OOS Raises Significant Concerns to the Pharmacy Board on In-Office Compounding Rules
On Friday, OOS President, W. Walker Motely, M.D., sent a letter to the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy raising significant concerns with the Board's proposed rules on in-office compounding. The OOS joins the Ohio State Medical Association and several other specialty societies in raising concerns about the rules and advocating for not moving forward with the proposal as drafted. The Board is scheduled to consider the rule this week and we are hopeful that changes will be made.
The OOS will continue to provide updates as the process moves forward. Should you have any questions, please contact the OOS office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
