Rural Practice Manager Check-Ins

Earlier this summer, the OOS held a meeting with ophthalmologists from rural practices across Ohio to discuss issues of mutual interest and concern. Several items were discussed including reimbursement, practice cost, workforce and sharing of best practices. One specific ask of everyone at the meeting was to set up a mechanism for practice managers to share ideas, experiences, etc.

To meet this expectation, starting in September, the OOS will host a monthly virtual meeting for rural (or non-urban) practice managers on the third Wednesday of every month (see dates below) over the lunch hour (12:15pm to 1:00pm).

These meeting will not have a formal agenda, but rather be an informal mechanism to discuss items of mutual interest. There is no need to register for these meetings, simply use the connection information below. Should you have any questions, please contact the OOS office at oos@ohioeye.org.
